Warrior's Prayer

We haven't talked much lately, Lord,

Cause I had it figured this way,

You are more than busy, Lord,

And I have so little to say...just

God keep America strong, brave, and true,

Save our Constitution, the Red, White, & Blue,

God bless the Bill of Rights, long may it be

Guide to opportunity in lands that are free.

Then keep the president wise, well, & strong.

Protect the peoples’ vote & guide them from wrong.

Next bless our loved ones, Lord, please guide them free.

If you have time to spare, then take care of me.

I will in the future Lord,

Have things more important to say.

Meanwhile, take care of the home-folks, Lord,

And send all their troubles my way... and

God keep. Amen
