Great Western University in downtown San Francisco has been around since 1957[sic] and almost nobody has heard of it.  And that makes its founder and administrative head, Eugene Whitworth, Ph.D., very, very, happy.

 

While other institutions hire specialists to beef up enrollment or nurture a proper public image, Great Western revels in its anonymity.  Some years back, $7.83 was spent on legal advertising in a Midwestern newspaper, Whitworth later found out it was unnecessary, and has regretted the expenditure ever since.

They like to read the "Bhagavad Gita" aloud.  They find it has the answers to questions that plague them.  Their favorite lines:

 

 

"By whatever way man comes to Me as Mine

I lovingly, gladly, give him life divine."

 

Dr. and Mrs. E. E.
